I spent 13 years in that same spot on staff at Mercy Hill, a church growing faster than I could keep up with. Sunday kept coming whether I was ready or not. It forced me to finish songs instead of polish them, build systems instead of reinvent every week, and learn to produce and mix because there was nobody else to.
Three albums and 35 original songs later, I do the whole job every week. And I help other worship leaders and MDs do the same.
